Due to Snow Forecast, Church Services are canceled on January 19, 2025

Folks are encouraged to choose safety if there is a question about road conditions and the ability to drive to church. If there is a weather event that will impact Sunday morning worship, the 10:45am service will be cancelled by 9:00am at the discretion of the Executive Council.

If there is a State of Emergency declared, which means roads should not be traveled, then the 10:45 worship service will be cancelled. Any change to the worship plan will be announced on Facebook, the church website, by email, and voicemail as early as possible.

Other church activities will follow the Carroll County Public Schools weather cancellations. Announcements will still be posted on Facebook, the church website, by email, and voicemail as early as possible.

We are a community of faith proclaiming the Kingdom of God in Taneytown, Maryland. We are part of the Delaware-Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

We welcome you to serve with us and be a part of our worship life as we experience God's love and saving grace. Whether you've been part of a church for your entire life, or you have never heard God's Word before, we hope you join us.

As a 270 year old congregation, we look back at our tradition with gratitude even as we try to build on that tradition to relevantly proclaim God's love today. Our worship is evolving as we hold true to our liturgical tradition while including new music, and new ways of experiencing God.
